AdviceINDICATIONSThis medicine is used for the treatment of anxiety accompanied with or without insomnia, also used inalcohol withdrawal.CONTRAINDICATIONSIt is contraindicated in patients with pulmonary insufficiency and respiratory depression. Notrecommended in patients with depression and psychosis.PRECAUTIONSPeople with the following conditions are advised to observe cautiousness while using this medicine;respiratory insufficiency, renal, and hepatic impairment. Avoid long-term use.SIDE EFFECTSThe side-effects are drowsiness, unsteadiness, loss of balance, confusion, vertigo, gastrointestinal upset,visual disturbances, headache, rash, and sexual disturbances. Blood disorders and jaundice are rare side-effects.PREGNANCYBetter to avoid during pregnancy, and should only be used when no safer alternative is present.LACTATIONThis medication is contraindicated in lactating females.
